The Gospel in Genesis: The Story of Joseph
On this edition of You Can Handle the Truth, I discuss the fascinating parallels between Jesus and the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis.
Kathy Afzali invited me to join her for another episode of “You Can Handle the Truth,” and this time we focused on the story of Joseph from the book of Genesis. Though he was despised and rejected by his brothers, through God’s providence, he ended up at the right hand of all power and authority in Egypt and became the source of a great redemption. As we point out, this powerful story ends up foreshadowing many aspects of Jesus’ story as narrated in the New Testament Gospels.
